Urma lamp

Urma — is a unique lamp concept based on an idea of using local simple materials for utilitarian product design. Contemporary and sophisticated design proposes new approach of applying local wood that is commonly used for construction needs. Illumination from the inside of a lamp highlights the beauty of wooden texture, its uniqueness, and fills the space around with warm cozy light. Being a natural material every peace of wood is unique so each product becomes exclusive. Modern LED technology helps to realise the idea in a very elegant way. Name Urma comes from a little village in Kostroma region, from an area of wood workshops that produce timber for the veneer production of that area.
